The story

You know the feeling. You pick the hard path because it's the one people respect. You put in the years. You get good at it. Then one day you look up and realize the thing you actually want is smaller, lighter, and sitting in your own backyard.

That was John Ottis Adams. Seven years in Munich mastering the serious, the darker style. Then he went home to Indiana, saw the light, and painted a field of poppies instead. Sometimes the brave move is the one that finally feels like yours.
