The story

1880. Art school in Brussels had one rule for women: decorative flowers or the door. Juliette Wytsman took the flowers and ran with them all the way to Ghent, where she studied under a specialist to get even better at it. Then she met Rodolphe, married him, and the two of them became a force in Belgian art nobody saw coming. She ended up exhibiting from Paris to Chicago. The restriction wasn't the ceiling. It was the starting line.
