The story

Theodore Clement Steele had the training and the connections to paint anywhere in the world, Paris included. Instead he bought a house on a hill in Indiana. He built himself an actual wagon, rigged up to work as a rolling studio, and dragged it through the hills so he wouldn't miss the light. This oak only goes this red for about a week each year. He made sure he was already parked there when it happened.
