The story

1919. The world just came out of a war and Mønsted went to the beach. Not to escape. To find what didn't change. Those rocks have been sitting there getting polished by salt water longer than anyone can remember. Every single one a different color, a different weight, a different story with the tide. That's what he painted. The thing that outlasts everything.
