Green Wheat Fields Auvers

Post-Impressionism

The story

May 20, 1890. He's out. The asylum walls had stopped being a shelter months ago. They'd become a cage. But today, Van Gogh leaves Saint-Rémy for good. Doctors say he's fit to travel. First stop, Paris. His brother Theo. A newborn nephew he's never met. Pure joy, for once. Then Auvers. A new town, a new start. Spring is everywhere.

Time to paint a green wheat field.
