Some Impressionist masters avoided a classical autumn scene. Too many browns, oranges, earthy tones, none of it their preferred palette. Sisley didn't calculate. In autumn, it's time to paint autumn. No need to overthink it. And for the colors? Just add touches of rose, violet and amber on the ground and the problem solves itself. Simple. Sisley.
