Sargent was the master of portraits. He had this rare ability to catch a psychological posture, the kind that made every wealthy society member want to sit for him. A very profitable business, but also full of high maintenance clients hard to please. By 1907, he had enough. No more commissions, no more demanding sitters. Just watercolor and freedom. This is Granada, one of the oldest cities in Andalusia.
A new artwork wallpaper every week, early access to new collections, and 15% off your first order. No spam. Leave whenever you like.
