Aiguille & Porte d Aval Etretat Sunset

Impressionism

The story

Étretat. One of the most painted spots in France. Monet came back here again and again. But this time he grabbed a pastel. Sunset going fast, sky doing something crazy, and he just went for it. You've seen a sunset like this. You know that feeling where you reach for your phone and you already know it won't do it justice. Monet had the same problem. He just had better tools.
