The story

Paris and its surroundings aren't made for snow. Neither now than in 1874. Let it snow two inches and Paris city and region are frozen. In 1874, it snowed without stop during 10 full days and nights. A heavy wet snow. All horse-drawn omnibus transport, railway links, carriage transit stopped. That's the winter Monet painted this snow at Argenteuil series.
