The story

Monet loved harbors. He was raised in Le Havre and painted his most famous canvas there, one of the busiest ports in France at the time. Then he chased harbors all over Normandy and Holland. A river port would do if there was no ocean at hand. Over 100 canvases came out of that obsession. But honestly, don't we all make a detour for a harbor?
