Garden at Arles

Post-Impressionism

The story

This is the good period. Arles 1888. When he just needs a two minutes walk from the yellow house to land in this patch of paradise, his own words.

He's alone with Provence and enjoys it like a kid finding new treasures everyday. Gauguin has not arrived yet. No arguments, no vocal opposition. Days are busy, evenings full of cicadas in the distance. The good period. Before everything fell apart.
