Late 1880s, they all went south. Provence. The French Riviera. Left Paris behind, this gray, noisy, industrial place it had become. First for winter, then for good. Renoir. Van Gogh. Cézanne. Matisse. Impressionists, post-impressionists, expressionists, and every other "ist" you can find in art history. This is Juan Les Pins by Eugène Chigot, an artist who started in the very north of France before choosing the sun.
A new artwork wallpaper every week, early access to new collections, and 15% off your first order. No spam. Leave whenever you like.
