Foggy Morning at Pourville

Impressionism

The story

Did you ever try to shoot a foggy morning with your phone? Let's say it's disappointing. Monet clearly had better technology at hand. He made this canvas during his Normandy trip. End of winter, start of spring. Changing weather, shifting light. Monet probably had to get up very early to catch exactly this. And he nailed what no camera does.
