The Parc Monceau was a major creation of the Baron Haussman, during his big Paris transformation. An Elegant promenade perfectly tailored for the neighborhood bourgeoisie. Less than 5 min walk from Caillebotte's place. Monet painted it too, with large floral views. Caillebotte preferred a shadowy side alley. More intimate
